Economic benefits

Our financial benefits


The entire community benefits from financial benefits, be it free places or subsidized and discounted places in relation to income brackets and merit. In the graph alongside, the data relating to the 2023-24 academic year.

Free places


2 starting from the first year (three-year or single-cycle degree) which can be confirmed in subsequent years

other 4 ( reserved for winners of the IUSS competition, in which the College is a partner) are free of charge with only the payment to the College of the IUSS Prize.

Subsidised places


For the a. y. 2024-25, the ordinary annual contribution for maintenance and training costs is € 12.000 (for income brackets over €100.000 ISEE).

Concessions based on the ISEE up to €7.600 on the ordinary annual contribution (which therefore corresponds to an annual contribution of €4.400, except for further extraordinary concessions).

Concessions are granted to whom not benefits from other benefits, with the exception of scholarships by EDiSU.

Furthermore, a Prize of € 1.000, offered by the Alumnae Association of Collegio Nuovo, will be awarded to the first candidate in the college ranking list enrolled in the first year of a first-cycle humanistic degree course who has an ISEE that does not exceed € 40.000.

Discounted places


INPS: it is possible to use the residential hospitality contribution offered (up to a master's degree) by INPS to the winners of its specific call aimed at students who are children/survivors/equals of employees and pensioners of the Public Administration. The contribution can also lead to a completely free place in the College. All the winners of the INPS contribution, who are also winners of the competition for student positions at the Collegio Nuovo, will be able to be admitted to the College.

INPS call for tenders 2024-25 Expires 12 August 2024, 12pm

ENPAM: children of members of this institution and students enrolled in the fifh or sixth year of Medicine and Surgery can apply for further benefits up to graduation, thanks to an agreement of the CCUM - Conference of University Colleges of Merit (to which the Collegio Nuovo adheres) with ENPAM.

Studying in College pays off also because….


Academic times and results also have an economic value.

In 2022-23:

97% degree achieved within academic schedule CN (vs. 61,5% AlmaLaurea, 2023)
109,9/110 average degree grade CN (vs. 104/110 AlmaLaurea, 2023).

Furthermore, on average over 20% of the community benefits from financial support offered by the College for study experiences, especially abroad.

The Graduate Residence: financial benefits


For a place in one of the accommodations (room, bathroom, kitchenette and access to the sports facilities and the College Library) the contribution for the entire year amounts to €6.600 (for a semester: €3.600).

The annual announcement includes some reserved seats to Alumnae of the College.

The possibilities of taking advantage of INPS discounted places also remain open.

And the bridge with the University of Pavia and Edisu?
