Governance and staff with more than half of the members being female: the Board of Directors of the Sandra and Enea Mattei Foundation is chaired by Prof. Anna R. Malacrida and is formed by the Rector, who also serves as Secretary, and by university professors and professionals, including two Alumnae. Two thirds of the Scientific Committee is made up of university professors.

Ministerial Decree 672 of 8 September 2016 for the recognition of University Colleges of Merit provides that each College has a "scientific committee, guarantor of the training activity, composed of at least 9 members, of which at least two thirds are made up of Full Professors and/or or Associates".
