In a particular year, also marked by the sudden conversion of many activities to remote mode, the College has demonstrated rigor and flexibility in adapting its training program: so far over 260 hours have been offered to the collegiate community (not counting the applications and exercises, as well as those of tutoring and coaching) as part of the non-formal training activity provided for by the MIUR Decree of 8 September 2016, nr. 673. In “Abroad with us” the rich offer of exchange places with the international partner institutions of the College and scholarships for studying abroad (also for individual projects) is presented which for this year, despite the positive outcome of the selections, will have to wait to be realized fully, at least for the second semester programmes. The Collegio Nuovo also offers preparatory training support, encouraging the internationalization of the students of the Graduate Residence also with dedicated meetings and orientation activities.

CAREER MANAGEMENT SKILLS

By Maria Assunta Zanetti (University of Pavia – Course Manager and Trainer) – Trainers: Paola Roberta Ferrari, Maria Santa Ferretti (Course Coordinator), Gianluca Gualdi, Valentina Percivalle, in collaboration with the C.OR. (Orientation Center, UniPV). Assessment tests are also provided by Kolbrain.

TUTORING AND COACHING

  • Tutoring (for freshmen and first years of study) – by senior students, in all areas of study. • Coaching – supervised by the Rector of the Collegio Nuovo, Paola Bernardi.
