Tuesday, December 3 (21:XNUMX p.m., in the Aula Magna and on Zoom, as well as live on Facebook) Blessed Tobagi returns to the Collegio Nuovo, after three decades from his debut with How Your Heart Beats. My Father's Story, the first work (published by Einaudi and presented at the Nuovo with Arturo Colombo) of a series of publications resulting from an in-depth study on the history of terrorism and the Seventies.

The meeting takes its cue from the latest volume coming out on November 26, again with Einaudi, which this time focuses on the history (and “movements”) of women, through a journey through Paola Agosti's photographic archive.
This is a four-handed – and four-eyed – work with a “generative” title (Hatching a New World: A Journey Through the Women of the Seventies) which, through the conquests of the feminist movements, also speaks of the present: «Keeping together individual and collective liberation, the commitment to a profound personal transformation and evolution and at the same time to a radical change in society, to make it more just, open, human, because both can truly only happen together: this is a keynote that has been transferred into contemporary intersectional feminism since the 1970s, and it seems to me that it could be one of the most precious elements that the women's movement brings to the 21st century».

The meeting is led by Marina Tesoro, who taught Contemporary History and History of Political Movements and Parties at the University of Pavia.

The meeting will be held in person (Aula Magna del Collegio Nuovo, v. Abbiategrasso 404, Pavia) and remotely. Registration is required by December 2nd for in-person participation; by December 3rd, 18.30:XNUMX pm for those who wish to connect remotely. The event will also be broadcast live on Facebook at @collegionuovopavia.

The initiative is part of the recognized training activities, subject to possible confirmation by the individual College concerned and member of the CCUM.
