Subsidized rates are applied to all Collegio Nuovo students: approximately 30% of them have full scholarships thanks also to the Foundation Sandra e Enea Mattei and the College’s agreements with a number of Italian institutions.

Graduating students and Alumnae may submit their application for one-year or a semester study abroad projects. The College also supports its students in their participation to international seminars and summer schools.  See also: Round the world

The Alumnae Association gives Research Awards and Lifelong learning Grants, in addition to a Prize to a graduating student. Some of the Association members support students with a specific academic background: the “European Grant” is mainly for Social Sciences students, wheras the “Felice e Adele Malacrida Prize” is destined to the Human Sciences area and the “Giorgio Vincre Prize” is awarded to a student graduating in Medicine and Surgery. Last but not least, since 1990 the Bernardi Family has promoted the “Prof. Aurelio Bernardi Prize”, addressed to graduates in graduates in Ancient Studies (or in Literature) Alumni either of the Ghislieri College or the Nuovo College.
