Learning Italian after arriving here in Pavia has truly felt like gaining an essential survival tool for my daily life.

The Professor, Alessio Banzato, is very warm and kind-hearted, and he has created a welcoming and supportive learning environment. During a time when I was experiencing homesickness and various stresses, this class became one of the warmest and most comforting spaces for me.

Although I am still a beginner, the Professor teaches with great patience, using daily practice with flashcards, as well as questions and answers. The lessons are well-structured and closely connected to our daily activities, which makes learning both practical and engaging. Because of this approach, I have been able to improve my Italian more quickly than I expected.

Before attending the course, I was not able to speak Italian at all. However, after just a few classes, I was already able to have simple conversations with the kitchen staff.

Beyond language learning, the class also gave me a sense of belonging. It helped me feel less alone and more connected to the people and environment around me. Step by step, I started to feel more confident in communicating and adapting to daily life here.

I am truly thankful for this experience and for the supportive atmosphere that has been created. It has made a significant difference in my journey as an international student.
